About this Unit

This unit focuses on using contemporary digital communication tools to recognise and showcase Australian First Nations cultures. Students will learn about a variety of accessible digital tools that are currently in common usage. These tools will be used in a ‘cloud’ environment to enable greater data mobility and accessibility. They will be used to create multimedia artefacts that enhance First Nations cultures and recognises the contribution that First Nations people have made and continue to make to Australian culture. Students will have critical experiences of social media environments and learn to navigate these environments with a view to using them to appropriately publish digital artefacts that they have created.
