What is HUMB1004 about?

Medical Anatomy integrates surface anatomy and 2D imaging of head, trunk and limbs into a 3D understanding of body structure and organ relationships. In this unit bones, joints, muscles, nerves and blood vessels are explored to learn how they function and are related in 3 dimensions. Correct use of anatomical terminology will be used to examine and communicate anatomical structures, positions and movement. An understanding of the role of anatomical features will help predict function and relate underlying anatomical structures to surface anatomy for clinical examination and imaging.
