About this Unit

This unit provides students the opportunity to explore the intersection of real-time technology, cinematography, and level design to craft cinematic sequences within both linear and non-linear digital experiences. It delves into the integration of techniques considering cinematic work from both traditional workflows, camera work and leverages on real time technology to produce compelling cinematic type sequences. Students will examine traditional and non-traditional workflows in cinematography, using theoretical frameworks to understand their boundaries while engaging with industry practices and production pipelines to create compelling narrative sequences.
