About this Unit

This unit focuses on developing students' skills and expanding their conceptual approaches in production methods for real-time effects and compositing which are utilised in moving image sequences. Real-time visual effects focus on real-time methodologies, such as utilising game-engines or other tools that augment real-time work production. In this unit students will learn the basic industry workflows for real-time visual effects production and the relevant techniques in compositing to blend various visual elements and create a compelling moving image sequence. Students will learn to utilise industry standard workflows to refine and develop their conceptual approaches.
