About this Unit

This unit provides an in-depth introduction to design thinking, the design thinking process, and several research methods that are commonly used in design thinking. You will be taken through the stages of the design thinking process and learn how to: (a) collect data using research methods; (b) analyse the data collected; and (c) apply the findings from your analysis to develop a solution to a brief. You will use the design thinking process to develop solutions. You will be required to work both individually and in a team.
