About this Unit

Electromagnetic and potential field methods are used to reveal the interior of our earth and other celestial bodies from surface to hundreds of kilometres depth below surface. This unit will span theory, acquisition, processing and interpretation of electrical, radar, time domain electromagnetic, frequency domain electromagnetic, gravity and magnetic methods. Students will develop the specific skills set required to apply these methods for large scale industry, environmental, groundwater, strategic minerals discovery, environmental or energy related applications
