About this Unit

Contemporary fashion design is built on the foundations of fit, form and function. This unit engages students in a re-examination of the traditional application of these three components of design. The classic design of the three pieces suit forms the primary focus for investigation into the parameters of fit form and function in garment, and the application of deconstructionist theory.
