About this Unit

This unit is one of three units in the Technologies Options group. Completing all three will provide a specialisation in Technologies. It is designed to provide students with a framework for developing and implementing digital solutions to contemporary issues in education. It has a pedagogical grounding that looks specifically at learning rather than the technological tools and platforms themselves. It is designed to give students the critical literacies required to assess the merit of such tools, use them to design and build robust solutions to everyday problems and evaluate their suitability for the chosen task. Students will be able to take the lessons learned in this unit and apply them across a range of learning landscapes.
