About this Unit

This unit covers the formulation and fundamental approaches of machine learning for pattern analysis and recognition. The learners will be familiar with a broad of stochastic and connectionist approaches such as linear regression, linear classification, support vector machine and neural network methods. The leaners will also be prepared to apply machine techniques to real world industry applications.
