About this Unit

This unit focuses on the range of information management issues facing today's business environment. It reflects the adage that “technology has no inherent value - its value arises from its utility”, and thus this unit takes a strategic view of information and its management. It seeks to give students the capability to have a useful and significant influence over the corporate management of information and the related application of information systems and technologies by building an understanding of selected theories and models of information management (IM).
