About this Unit

This unit provides students with essential knowledge and practical skills for taking a significant computer science project. Students will demonstrate their ability to formulate a scientific or industry problem and work with their team to create a sustainable plan to accomplish the project. Students will also develop a sound understanding of computing project management. In addition, students will also demonstrate an awareness of ethical issues and Indigenous culture, as well as the ability to evaluate the environmental and social impact of their work. Finally, students will develop technical writing and communication skills related to their technical work.
