About this Unit

Students will develop understandings and explanations of the multiple forms of community and examine how practice can be responsive to these diversities. This unit introduces students to theories and practices of working with communities and presents some of the challenges, tensions and possibilities of community practice in local and global contexts. Students will identify, assess and apply knowledge, skills and values for community practice. This unit offers relevant knowledge and practice skills for a range of professional disciplines.
