About this Unit

In this unit students will be required to undertake accurate measurements for preparing a Bill of Quantities in accordance with the relevant Standard Method of Measurements. Students will demonstrate alternative approaches to measurement for detailed builder’s quantities, using suitable software. They will also be required to demonstrate their understanding of construction knowledge, ability to read and interpret construction drawings and be familiar with the construction technical terms that they will come across in real projects.
